GOD AND EVOLUTION

Wake up Church!  Evolution is not an attack:  it's a gift from God, a sign of His Genius. Evolution is the most powerful and remarkable physical process that God has placed in the universe - there is simply nothing like it. When God "unleashed" Evolution on planet Earth, it relentlessly and repeatedly built complex sensory organs,  large brains, intelligence and highly developed social societies throughout the globe. Imagine a process, a force of nature, a system that slowly builds out of the less complex the more complex and does it over and over and over again with ever-increasing beauty and elegance. 

Just the word Evolution evokes connotations of fear and distrust in the mind of many Christians.  But there is simply no reason for it:  Evolution is a machine, straight from the hand of God, that has terraformed planet earth into an admirable home, spinning out one fascinating and wonderful form after another. Climate, height, depth, land and sea - what has halted its progression?  This same process of Evolution from God went on to create a wide array of morphologies and launched many creatures with processing powers far more impressive than any Cray computer or studio at Pixar. Orb weavers, dolphins, trilobites, Neanderthals - the power of evolution is so stunning and astonishing that it seems almost impossible, even for God. 

Who could have come up with such a clever system?  Who could have conceived of something that builds complexity so handily out of simplicity and beauty so easily out of chaos?  Of course, the answer is God Himself. 

 This site is dedicated to praising God for the marvelous works displayed on heaven and earth.  Scientists, Christian or non, get the privilege of viewing His handiwork daily.  We agree with the Psalmists when the declare:

Among the gods there is none like unto thee, O Lord; neither are there any works like unto thy works. (Psalm 86:8)

For thou, LORD, hast made me glad through thy work: I will triumph in the works of thy hands. (Psalm 92:4)

O LORD, how manifold are thy works! in wisdom hast thou made them all: the earth is full of thy riches. (Psalm 104:24)

Rising Middle Class

This world will never be the same:  it is transforming right before our eyes.  70 million new people will be added to the middle class every year for at least the next twenty years and by 2030 that number is estimated to be 90 million.  ple to the middle class in what amounts to the blink of an eye. These new denizens on the world stage come from countries such as China, Russia and India.  They are generally highly educated and highly science-oriented.  They simply will not tolerate a gospel that requires them to believe in a Flat Earth.  Read more here.

Tired of an Ugly Gospel?

Galileo!  Wherefore art thou, Galileo?  It is easy to grow weary at times.  The Church as a whole seems to work as hard as possible to create what I call an Ugly Gospel.  They take Jesus' simple words and add so much baggage to it that it is almost unpalatable for most of the world's population.  First and arguably foremost, they often attack almost every scientific field as being fundamentally flawed and demonically influenced.  Astronomy, paleontology, biology, geology - is anything safe?  What are the consequences of a Tainted Gospel?  Read more here.
